Loudoun County Courts Expansion

Loudoun County’s Circuit Court began Phase III of their renovation with a new parking garage and an 85,000 square foot expansion to the existing court building. The expansion also included an interior renovation of the existing building. The new steel-framed three-story building is supported by a micropile and pile cap system. An underground concrete tunnel connects the new expansion to the existing building which also required underpinning of the existing building’s foundations.

Tim Park was the project manager and lead engineer for the project.
